I worked under you at Dow Jones. You were out of touch then and you’re out of touch now. Tucker is one of the best journalists in the biz right now.

Appreciate your sharing this, although I do think it would have more credibility with a name attached. Carlson, btw, frequently suggests he’s not a journalist in his current role.

Also true of Rachel Maddow, whom MSNBC has acknowledged is not a journalist, although for some reason that is not brought up as frequently.

At any rate, Tucker highlights the work of journalists who deserve more attention, such as Glenn Greenwald and Julie Kelly.

Would love to use my real name, but I’m still in the workforce and don’t have that option. Must be great for you to take Murdoch’s money and then, once you’re comfortably retired, talk about what an ass he is.

If we knew each other well, you might know that I left Dow Jones two and a half years before the takeover, and am not yet retired. I never took Murdoch’s money.

All well said, Dick. It's also hard to imagine any journalist would argue that Tucker Carlson is a journalist. He's akin to an editorial page writer for Fox News - and as you point out, a dangerous one at that.

Maybe that's why the commenter is an EX-journalist.
